BACKGROUND
Biography
Bilal Nizami is a doctoral researcher at the University of Rome Tor Vergata, studying focused ultrasound for blood–brain barrier modulation and drug delivery. His work also examines nanoparticle-mediated neuromodulation. He holds a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Karachi and an Erasmus Mundus master's degree in Nanomedicine. His master's research at Heidelberg University investigated a human stem-cell-derived model of the blood–brain barrier. He publishes as Syed Bilal Nizami.
