BACKGROUND

Biography

Fabrizio Spera is a doctoral researcher in the National PhD Programme in Artificial Intelligence, specialising in health and life sciences. He graduated in Theoretical Physics from Sapienza University of Rome in 2024, with a background in condensed matter physics and statistical mechanics.

His research examines the relationship between artificial intelligence, physics and neural representations. Recent work develops methods for decoding visual imagery from functional MRI, including the adaptation of generative models trained on visual perception to brain activity recorded during imagination.
