Doctoral Researcher · University of Rome Tor Vergata
BACKGROUND
Biography
Marta Grossi is a biomedical engineer and doctoral researcher at the University of Rome Tor Vergata. She holds a master's degree from Sapienza University of Rome. Her research develops numerical methods for focused-ultrasound exposure design, particularly blood–brain barrier opening. She works on anatomically detailed acoustic simulations and the effects of transducer placement on pressure distribution, with experimental validation in biological models. Her contributions include the PULSAR planning framework and studies of human-head modelling for ultrasound exposure design.
