BACKGROUND
Biography
Sara Verde is a doctoral researcher in Medical Biotechnologies and Translational Medicine at the University of Rome Tor Vergata. Her work develops biomarker assays, including fluorescence-based phenylalanine measurements for phenylketonuria and aptamer-based detection of extracellular vesicles from glioblastoma cells.
She holds a bachelor's degree in Biotechnology for Health and a master's degree in Pharmaceutical Biotechnology, awarded by the University of Naples Federico II in 2021 and 2023. Her training also includes technology transfer and the industrial application of research, supported by a regional scholarship.
