BACKGROUND
Biography
Simona Lanzafame is a medical physicist in the Medical Physics Unit at AOU G. Martino in Messina, which she joined in May 2022. She previously worked in radiotherapy at San Vincenzo Hospital in Taormina and in radiation protection in Enna. Her research background includes quantitative neuroimaging, diffusion MRI and magnetic resonance spectroscopy. She also teaches therapeutic applications of radiation in the University of Messina's School of Specialisation in Medical Physics.
